Solid pizza bar, tons of apps and side options, and very New York style friendly customer service. I ordered the wings and they were great! Wife ordered the pepperoni calzone and said it was really good and super cheesy. Overall I'd definitely recommend Nonna's!
The pizza here is a work of art as well as delicious. Atmosphere is polite. Service is quick and comfortable. I'd recommend Sofia Loren with pepperoni. And the bruschetta of course.
I had to double check that I was still in Iowa - this place felt like a NYC slice shop, accent included. Features a big case full of well crafted New York, Grandma, or Sicilian style slices heated to order. If you don't see what you want in the case, the menu looks great too. Bonus points for the Jamaican beef patty with roni and mozz, it was better than the one I had in Manhattan!
The food is amazing! This is a little taste of NYC right here in Central Iowa. It is counter service, meaning you order at the counter - typical in New York. So find your table go up and check out the pizza slices - tried the cheese & BBQ and both were delicious - or order off the menu. You won't regret searching this place out and eating here. Everything we tried was so good. Highly recommend!!
Late night dinner turned into one of the best experiences dining out in Iowa in a long time, the food was extremely delicious and tasty. The Atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal and VERY welcoming! The staff is beyond helpful and super friendly!! 100/10 will never eat pasta anywhere else!
